Our 2026 Horizons of Portugal took guests on an unforgettable seven-day adventure through one of Europe’s most captivating and undiscovered driving destinations. Combining spectacular roads, authentic culture, and exceptional hospitality, the tour showcased the very best of Portugal, from the vineyards of the Douro Valley and the dramatic peaks of the Serra da Estrela to the rolling plains of the Alentejo and the stunning Algarve coastline.
Guests enjoyed a superb collection of luxury hotels throughout the tour, beginning with the world-renowned Six Senses Douro Valley before continuing to Casa de São Lourenço, the exclusive Herdade do Sobroso Wine Hotel, and concluding at the magnificent Vila Vita Parc. Departing from Six Senses Douro Valley, the route wound across Portugal’s finest driving roads, weaving through terraced vineyards, mountain passes, vast open landscapes, and quiet coastal routes. Highlights included the spectacular ascent into the Serra da Estrela, exhilarating sections of the legendary N2, and lesser-known routes that showcased Portugal’s remarkable variety and beauty.
A true highlight of the tour was an exclusive private track experience at Monteblanco Circuit, where guests enjoyed professional driver coaching, and the opportunity to fully explore the capabilities of their own cars in a safe and controlled environment, along with hiring race-prepared track cars.
This year, our guests experienced some of the finest driving roads in Club GT history, complemented by spectacular mountain scenery, exceptional lunches, and unforgettable moments including a private wine tasting and a performance by traditional local Alentejo singers, making this a truly memorable adventure.
The finale dinner at Mizu Teppanyaki, overlooking a spectacular Atlantic Ocean sunset, provided the perfect conclusion to an unforgettable journey through Portugal. Shared evenings over exceptional food and wine, together with a wonderful group of like-minded enthusiasts, completed a memorable week of driving, luxury, and camaraderie that guests will remember for years to come.
